Dog Training Rates

Mandatory prerequisite for other services, for dogs 6 months and older. 

For Multiple Dogs: +$55 Per Additional Dog

• For Multiple Dogs: +$50 Per Additional Dog Per Follow-Up
• Package must be used within 4 months.

• For Multiple Dogs: +$50 Per Additional Dog Per Follow-Up
• Package must be used within 6 months.

For clients who have been inactive for 12+ months.

• Mandatory prerequisite for other services. 
• Available ONLY for puppies under 6 months of age.

• For puppies under six months of age. 
• Package must be used within six months.
• Includes the Consultation and six additional follow up sessions.

• The Consultation must be completed separately.
• Only available for puppies under 6 months of age.
• Package must be used within 4 months.

• Only available for puppies under 6 months. 
• Once the puppy reaches the 6 month mark, they will be switched to regular follow-up pricing. 

This licensed Family Paws presentation will be given either virtually or in your home, depending upon your preference. The presentation lasts approximately one hour and costs $75. It does not include an individualized training plan. 

This licensed Family Paws presentation will be given in a small group setting once every couple of months. Keep an eye on my business social media (IG: @barksandrecva) for upcoming dates. The presentation lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Price is dependent upon which location I am able to book and how many people will be in attendance. This does not include an individualized training plan. This is the only service that does not require a previous Consultation. 

These one-on-one classes are done in your home and focus on helping you to prepare for life with a baby and a dog. We will discuss management and setting up your environment for success, training exercises and skills specific to situations involving the dog and baby, canine and infant body language, Homecoming (bringing the baby home), and more. These classes are the same price as my normal hourly visits ($95 per session. Packages available). 

• These visits are intended to be used when Mom is in labor and/or in the hospital. You can also utilize this service if you are doing a home-birth & need additional help with your dog(s). Visits are $20 each & approximately half an hour in duration. During this time, I will let your dog out to potty & feed them breakfast/dinner upon request.
  • Drop-Ins will incur an additional fee if they are needed between 11 P.M. - 6 A.M. and/or on national holidays. Travel fees may also apply. 

Parenthood is a beautiful thing! It can also be exhausting, especially for first time parents. The dog(s) may also be feeling extra stressed due to such a huge change in their routine, environment, and amount of daily attention and exercise. To help alleviate some of the stress on both the parents and the pup(s), I am now offering day training, enrichment sessions, and field trips. These will vary in price depending upon duration and location. Please contact me for more information.

My regular service areas, which incur no additional travel fee, are listed below:

• Western Branch, Greenbrier, and Deep Creek areas of Chesapeake
• Portsmouth
• Norfolk
• North Suffolk (Harborview)
• Kempsville, Virginia Beach

There are travel fees for the following areas:

Deep Suffolk, Smithfield, Hickory Chesapeake, Virginia Beach (Kempsville Area Exempt)

Occasionally, a session may need to be rescheduled due to severe weather, a family emergency, or if I become ill. Of course, the  client will not be penalized for this. Any rescheduling that needs to occur due to one of the aforementioned reasons will be communicated directly and promptly to the client.

For the Consultation, I will email you the Jotform for your online payment after you submit your PAQ. Follow-up sessions can be paid for by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. 

**If you choose to use PAYPAL, please note that there will be a 5% convenience fee added to the cost of service.**

Packages are non-refundable. 

You can receive a refund on single follow-ups if they are cancelled with more than 48-hours notice. With packages, however, if you cancel with more than 48-hours notice, you only have the option to reschedule your session to a later date. You can not forfeit your sessions to get a refund (this defeats the purpose of me providing discounts to people for committing to more sessions).
