Booking a Consultation - What Do You Need to Know?

You can expect the consultation to last approximately 1.5–2 hours. During this time, we will take an in-depth look at your dog’s behavioral, training, and medical history. We will discuss appropriate training methods and expectations, establish realistic and achievable goals, and take time to get to know one another. You will also receive a welcome bag with treats for your pup and helpful resources for you, along with a comprehensive email recap summarizing everything discussed during the consultation. So grab a cup of coffee, a notebook, and a pen, and get comfy! I am excited to meet you and your dog!
For safety reasons and to prevent the rehearsal of undesirable behaviors, please ensure your dog is safely secured in a separate room, behind a baby gate, or in a kennel upon my arrival. I will be happy to greet your pup in a controlled and safe manner after the discussion and educational portion of the consultation.
Policies
- Please note: All payments are non-refundable. Your payment secures your appointment and reserves a time slot that is unavailable to other clients. If you cancel your consultation within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment, the session will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. If you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice, no refund will be provided; however, you will be offered one opportunity to reschedule your consultation. Rescheduled appointments must take place within one month of the original booking date.
- The individual who books the consultation must be present for the entire duration of the session.
- All minors participating in the consultation or any future training sessions must be accompanied at all times by an adult (18+) family member or legal guardian.
- Additional travel charges may apply. If your location falls outside my standard service area, I will contact you in advance to notify you of any required travel fees.
